When I was 18, I started working for her company KBS and while working with her I was figuring out what I wanted to do with my life. I remembered telling her that I wanted to get into the fitness industry and become a personal trainer. That's when she began supporting and coaching me! Kedesha went out of her way to create a homework folder that motivated my research on what a personal trainer or fitness instructor is, the different types of certifications they offer in Canada, and what motivated my interest, and she even found a program that supported what I was looking for. She checked in with my progress and prayed with me often. I'm now 21, and completing my Personal Training certification, Nutrition and Postnatal certification, with knowledge on who I want to serve. (Pregnant women and women 6-weeks+ postpartum). When I need clarity, I often referred to the homework folder Kedesha gave me back in 2023 or book a call with her. She also motivated my faith. She helped me realize that God always comes through when you trust Him and write the vision and make it plain! She is still nothing but supportive in 2026, and I can't thank anyone more than her for coaching me on this self-discovery journey. She's the real deal and knows her stuff when it comes to business and personal growth! I thank God for using my fearfully and wonderfully made cousin to help me and support me on my journey. I love her always!

    Where do I even begin?

I’ve known Kedesha for most of my life since elementary school and somehow God always found a way for our paths to reconnect over the years. When she started doing hair, I would sit in her chair and feel such a sense of peace and openness. Our conversations were never just surface level. We talked about life, our struggles, our growth, and building a closer relationship with God. Even then, she carried something special a calm strength and a genuine heart.

In 2018, when I got my first apartment and was trying to create a fresh start for myself and my kids, I was full of hope but also full of fear. So much was happening in my life at that time. Every time I saw Kedesha, she would let me pour my heart out. She never rushed me. She never dismissed my feelings. She prayed for me consistently and reminded me that God had a plan for my life, even when I couldn’t see it.

I remember being so nervous about driving. I had so much anxiety around it, but she didn’t just encourage me she connected me to her own driving instructor, someone she trusted and spoke highly of. That meant so much. When I went for my G2 test the first time and failed, I was crushed. But Kedesha told me not to give up. She walked me through what to focus on, encouraged me step by step, and of course kept prayer at the center of it all. The second time, I passed. And I truly believe her encouragement and faith carried me through that moment.

During relationship struggles, she was never judgmental. Not once. She always reminded me to pray over my family, to surrender things to God, and to allow Him to work. She helped me look at situations realistically but always through a lens of faith.

When I moved from Woodbridge to Hamilton with three kids one being a newborn I was terrified. It felt like a fresh start, but it also felt overwhelming. Around that same time, I got my full G license and was so scared to drive on the highway. Again, she would say, “One step at a time.” She helped me balance motherhood, faith, fear, and responsibility. Even during financial hardships, she showed up with genuine care and never made me feel ashamed.

When I had my youngest son, and was on maternity leave while finishing my university degree, I felt exhausted and burdened. Postpartum is no joke, especially with multiple children. But Kedesha saw something in me that I couldn’t see in myself. She pushed me not to give up. Because of her encouragement, I kept going when I wanted to stop.

One of the hardest moments of my life was when my daughter ended up in the ICU. Kedesha prayed with me constantly and checked in regularly. She didn’t just say “I’m praying for you” she truly stood in the gap for me spiritually when I was weak.

She also helped connect me to a church in Hamilton, and that’s where I eventually took the biggest step of my faith journey getting baptized. For years I talked about wanting to do it, but fear and doubt held me back. Watching Kedesha’s own transformation, seeing how God turned her life around, and witnessing her obedience made it feel real and attainable. Her journey brought me closer to my own faith. Having her as one of my main supports during my baptism meant everything.

As a young Black woman, it’s not always easy to find someone you truly relate to someone who shares your values, your faith, and understands the layers of what you carry. With Kedesha, I never felt alone. I felt understood.

There are so many more moments I could share, but these are just a few that truly highlight my experience. Through every season fear, growth, heartbreak, motherhood, faith, and rebuilding she has been consistent.

If you are looking for a mentor, coach, or leader who is aligned with God, who is genuine, patient, and deeply invested in your restoration, you are in good hands with Kedesha. She doesn’t just talk about faith she lives it. And she helps you believe in yourself when you can’t see the light on your own.

    I am forever grateful.
